How do I use Google Apps / GMail for my e-mail accounts?

If you want to use the Google Apps mail service to receive your e-mails, our system will support this.
Please follow the below:

1./ Log into your Plesk account and navigate to your domain name
2./ Click Mail Accounts then Mail Settings
3./ Untick Activate mail service on domain  then click OK.
4./ Next click DNS Settings

You now need to tick & delete your MX records which will follow the syntax ukclouddns.co.uk
Once deleted you should add new MX records by clicking Add record, selecting MX from the drop down box.
Leave Enter Mail domain box empty and enter the below into your mail exchanger box.

ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM
ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM

Once complete ensure you click update DNS settings.
That’s it. DNS propagation will take around 1hr to update.
Your mails will then directly send into Google Apps / Gmail.
